The Creative Process
Emotions, especially those that result from trauma, loss or crisis, are often hard to articulate - and sometimes, words are not enough to completely convey what's inside a person's mind and heart. Because feelings are sometimes difficult to relate with words, many people push them inward - causing depression, confusion, anxiousness, shame, hopelessness or frustration. Read More

Adam Shares His Story
Adam shares his story that through surfing the internet he came across Sovereign Health of California, and the place seemed to fit his criteria and needs. He acknowledges the therapeutic alliance and says that his therapy was the "best thing" he experienced during his stay.
In this narrative, Adam, who came for dual diagnosis treatment, shares that the staff were responsive and helpful when he initially called for treatment. He describes the staff as friendly, and the house managers as strict. His suggestion to new patients is to be extremely honest, focused and to speak out to his/her therapist, which helped in his own recovery. Adams shares that Sovereign helped in the transition between the two worlds; external and internal, and he learnt a lot here.

Utilizing Insurance
Cost Effective Treatment

Many sufferers of Addiction, Dual Diagnosis, Mental Health, and/or Eating Disorder conditions have been left untreated due to not having enough financial resources to cover a treatment program.  In the past, there were programs for those who qualified for county and/or government assistance and programs for those who were able to afford high end treatment. The question then arose, what about the middle, typically known as the working class?

Sovereign Health Group wanted to change the face of the utilization of private health insurance for behavioral health and addiction treatment and help more people reach the help they need and deserve.   SHG has been diligent and motivated from inception to create and continue increasing the amount of coverage a patient receives for treatment. From the very first call, our admissions team will handle the verification of benefits and devise a plan of action to get the patient into treatment as quickly as possible. We are willing to work with each person individually and devise the best plan.

We are proud to say "We Accept and Direct Bill Insurance".

We accept most PPO and HMO insurances up front, call Admissions today to learn more, 866-819-2948.
