Anger is a normal human emotion. Just like other emotions we experience, it serves a function. When anger creates problems for individuals and their environment, we define this as an Anger Management issue. For the adolescent, just like a lot of teenage problems, they may see it differently. This workshop will focus on assessment of teenage anger management and the special considerations we need in working with teenage anger issues. Parent’s role is pivotal, both in providing motivation to change and in working on the problem. Techniques and tools for the adolescent will also be introduced.
