San Clemente:

San Clemente has started a new Legal and Court Services Program. In this program clients who have legal issues will be able to get treatment at Sovereign Health for their alcohol and/or drug related charges in lieu of serving jail time. Also, the Intensive Family Program had the highest amount of attendees in July since the program started. The next weekend session will take place Aug 15th and 16th.

Culver City :

Culver City has added two new houses, bringing the total to now 4 houses for our LA location! In addition, the Short Ave and 74th Street houses have just received their fire inspection and are on well on their way to completing RTC (residential treatment certification) state licensure. The administrative offices will also be moving to the suite above the current office, doubling patient capacity to 60. The former administrative office will be opened up to patients, accommodating more groups, individual therapy, a new cog lab, and a larger nurse’s station.

San Diego:

San Diego has officially opened the doors to its new Adolescent Treatment Program. The program is specifically designed to treat and support the adolescent and the family system by providing family therapy, parenting classes, and individualized treatment for substance abuse, mental health, and co-occurring disorders. The 75 bed treatment facility opened its doors on July 25.

Palm Springs, CA:

Our Palm Springs location has officially opened their offices and received their first patients! The professional staff at Palm Springs continues to grow rapidly as new employees are coming on board. Sovereign Health’s southern California continues to grow happily and healthily!

Delta UT:

It was an activity filled month at White River Academy. Festivities included softball tournaments, a parade, Pioneer Day Celebrations, and Family Weekend (15 families!). Some WRA students also participated in a triathalon in Blanding Utah on July 12th. These students trained in addition to their regular scholastic and treatment requirements, and one of four students finished first in his age group!
