No two teens are exactly alike, and all patients have their own unique needs and progress at their own pace. Sovereign creates individualized treatment plans for all of our young patients, with corresponding levels of care that keep pace with their growth and changing needs.
Sovereign Health’s eating disorder program provides residential and intensive outpatient levels of care, while our mental health and substance abuse programs also offer partial hospitalization.
Residential treatment (RTC)
Residential treatment is the most intensive treatment available. Patients reside in Sovereign-run housing and receive nonhospital-based interdisciplinary services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Patients are shuttled to and from treatment and spend the rest of their time under the care of our professional staff.
The summer camp-like atmosphere enhances comfort and fosters a peer-to-peer comradery among our young patients to create an atmosphere conducive to recovery.
Partial hospitalization (PHP)
Sovereign Health of Rancho San Diego’s partial hospitalization program is medically supervised and gives full-spectrum, therapeutically intensive, coordinated, clinical services. Striking the middle ground between residential and outpatient care, patients in partial hospitalization receive treatment at our facility but return to their own home or sober living house in the evening.
Intensive outpatient (IOP)
In intensive outpatient care, patients receive treatment for part of the week while living in their own home or sober living house. This is the lowest intensity level of care available at the Ranch San Diego facility, allowing patients to continue their road to recovery while granting them greater freedom to pursue responsibilities at home, in school or in their professional lives.
Sovereign Health of Rancho San Diego accepts most insurance plans. Our admissions team strives to streamline the insurance process to help patients and their families focus on recovery.
We also accept private payment and have partnered with My Treatment Lender to help patients get the grants or loans they need to make treatment affordable. Call our 24/7 helpline to learn more about our insurance and payment options.
