Financing for our Behavioral Health Services

If insurance isn’t enough…

Treatment’s important to us, because we know what happens when mental disorders and addictions are left untreated: pain, diminished lives and sometimes, death.

Addiction and psychological disorders aren’t signs of character flaws or attention-seeking; they’re serious diseases that can affect anyone, regardless of age, gender or background. At minimum, these disorders can cause major disruption to a person’s life and career. At worse …

Effective, evidence-based treatment can be expensive. Insurance can pick up some of the costs, but occasionally even an insurance premium isn’t enough to take care of every obligation. Which is why Sovereign Health is willing to go the distance with every one of its patients to ensure that they’re able to receive the treatment they need to continue living.

Sovereign Health of California accepts most major health insurance plans, making treatment for addiction, mental health disorders and dual diagnosis affordable. We happily discuss financing options with all of our patients to ensure that treatment is available for as many people as possible, because our goal at Sovereign Health is providing evidence-based, comprehensive treatment for every patient based on their needs and returning them to a healthy life.

Finding funding

Sovereign Health has partnered with My Treatment Lender to ensure all patients receive treatment. My Treatment Lender shops loans with hundreds of lenders to secure financing for rehab. We understand that individuals in the throes of addiction or dealing with a mental health issue let other aspects of their lives go to seed. This includes their finances. My Treatment Lender shops loans for everyone who applies. Even if your credit rating is poor or nonexistent, My Treatment Lender will look for a lender to provide financing.

When a person speaks with our admissions team, he or she goes over all of the health care insurance options that are available to the prospective patient. They will also discuss what benefits are available for that person and what financial obligations they may still have.

Although Sovereign Health strives to be an affordable option by accepting most insurance and creating a financial package that works with the patient, not everyone’s insurance will cover the cost. While the Affordable Healthcare Act mandates that health care insurance must cover behavioral health services as “essential benefits,” the extent of benefits vary based on the plan.

For those who do not have insurance, whose insurance benefits run out or who do not wish to use insurance, we accept private payment.

Financial obstacles should never be a barrier to receiving help. Sovereign Health promises to provide evidence-based treatment to anyone who needs each. Contact our 24/7 helpline to talk to one of our admissions specialists.
