Candy Finnigan is an Interventionist that is most known for her role on the A&E series Intervention, and she has been involved in the recovery field for over 20 years. She graduated from UCLA with her degree in Chemical Dependency and worked in Addiction Services at Cedars-Sinai Hospital as an intern.
Ms. Finnigan was trained by the man who honed the craft of interventions Dr. Vern Johnson, and has affiliations with such drug rehabilitation centers like The Ranch Recovery in Desert Hot Spring, Hazelden, Sierra Tucson, Caron, Astoria Point/Rosebriar, The Meadows, Promises West and Malibu, Talbots, the Betty Ford Center and many others.
Ms. Finnigan also has experience in relapse prevention, counseling services and has worked with young people and adults alike. This podcast is Ms. Finnigan speaking about Adoption Before Addiction and what relevancy of growing up in an adoptive situation had such an impact on her later in life.
